This document provides guidance for a nursing student assignment to analyze a non-European American culture from the perspective of a cross-cultural psychologist. Students are asked to examine how cultural factors influence conformity, social support, emotion expression, views on psychological disorders and treatment, and cultural perceptions/stereotypes for their chosen culture. The analysis should position the culture on dimensions like power distance and uncertainty avoidance and explain how this informs behaviors and psychology.

psychological approach and to draw conclusions based on research of that culture’s
