In 2010, we were all living through the Great Recession, a time known for mass layoffs, abandoned homes, vacant commercial property, bankruptcies, and more
Perhaps you have your own stories about the misery that was The Great Recession.
And yet, it was in this environment that the Fenton Community Orchestra was started.
We know it’s too much to read but we just wanted to share some important milestones.
Additionally, our membership and audience has grown steadily since we began.
We believe we’re adding value to our area.
The next few slides of our Board are just to show you the people that are in place to guide the FCO into the future.
Downtown improvements, great restaurants, and unique cultural attractions like the Chasse Ballroom all lead to more people coming here, improving our local economy. We believe that the FCO can also help this into the future.
We do have one former member who attends Berklee.
This seems like a simple solution, but there’s a lot more to it than it sounds.
We know this one is full, but perhaps more are on the way.
