This book review is about the book On the edge by Nigel Hinton.The genre of
the book is (fictional drama).
It follows the story of two boys whose mentally unstable father, who is an ex
serviceman, takes them on holiday but suspicions arise.

Main characters:
Dillon is a boy who is 15 years old.In this story, he acts like a very brave boy, but
unfortunately he has a sick father.He appears when his father called them and
took them on trip.
Robbie is a boy who is 10 years old.Roobie is Dillon's younger brother, who also goes
on the trip with them.And he was a bit scared because of the whole situation that was
happening.
Andy is mom's boyfriend, he appears only at the end of this book, when the children go
to their father's funeral.
Mother is the mom of Dillon and Robie who has a boyfriend Andy, her ex-husband beat
her and Dillon.She appears at the very end when she found the boys and they went to
their father's funeral together.
Scott is the father of Dillon and Robbie who beat them up, he was in the army and in
the war, but unfortunately he is mentally ill. The children have not seen him for 2 years
and he is taking them on a suspicious trip.
Steve Selby is his father's army colleague who met his mother, Dillon and Robie at the
funeral. Their father saved his life in the war.

Setting: The action takes place first in their house and then in Gardle Head, where they
traveled.
4.The best thing is that those children survived because their father did not kill them,
but unfortunately they were left without their father, whatever he was, in their eyes.

6.Of course I would recommend this book to my friends, it's very good even if it doesn't
have a happy ending. But it's definitely very good and I definitely recommend reading
it.
