Recruitment
• Recruitment is the process of attracting the potential candidates and
motivating them to apply for the jobs or selecting skilled and right
candidates from the pool of applicants and appointing them for right
jobs.
Placement
• Placement is the determination of the job to which an accepted
candidate is to be assigned and his assignment to the job.
• It is matching of what the supervisor has reason to think he can do
with the job demands(job requirements), it is a matching of what he
imposes, and what he offers in the form of payroll, promotional
possibilities etc.

Induction
• Induction is the process of receiving and welcoming an employee
when he first joins a company and giving him the basic information he
needs to settle down quickly and happily and start work

About the department
About the superiors, subordinates etc
