1. Antenna should be fixed by double nuts
1. Antenna should be fixed
vertically
Connectors should be sealed well by
scotch and 3M
Fix the Sealing using black tie wraps at top at
bottom of sealing
No obstacles blocking RF antenna
radiation
1. Mechanical ,electrical tilts and height must
applied as the design sheet delivered
RF antenna azimuth should be typically as
per design
1. Antenna should be installed as per
design sheet height
1. CPRI cables must be installed
separately from cabinet Roxtec.
2. CPRI cables must be installed through
flexible tubes under BTS to protect them.
Connectors between feeders and
jumpers must isolated well
1. All cables must install in good
arrangement till reaching the BTS cabinet
entrance.
2. install the cables inside flexible tubes
under the BTS to protect fiber , power , E1 and
alarm cables.
3. Use black wide plastic tie wraps to arrange
the cables and avoid any crossing.
4. Fill the flexible outlets with silicon.
5. fabricate the cable tray according to each
case dimensions.
6. close the cable tray after finishing your
work.
1. Feeder clamps stage should be installed
every two meters.
2. Feeders to be installed vertically in sharp
straight way.
1. Earth kits installation every 15-20 m
2. Earth kits sealing with high quality sealing
3. Earth kits connected to buss bar with tight bolts
1. Every Earth kit Cable to be connected in
one Buss bar bolts.
2. Earth kit cables to be routed downward
to Buss bar.
3.In case of Buss bar congested, Approved
to connect two cables in the same bolt.
Feeders should be installed
parallel and in clamps every 2
meters and tray should be not
congested and closed properly
Tray size should be 60*10
Sweep test (VSWR, DTF & Return Loss) should be pass
* ** 1 < VSWR < 1.4
*** 1 < DTF < 1.05
*** RL > 15.60 dB
Jumpers should be installed in S-
shape without any sharp pending
or extra tension and without any
crosses
1. Install RRUs always on brackets , don’t
install directly on tower leg.
2. RRU should be installed vertically.
RRU must be fixed
well on the
Bracket
1. Don’t install RRU on the ground to
avoid losses in signal.
2. In case of facing special site “Palm,
Mono pole,…Etc” need to install RRU
on the ground; you have to request
approval from Client as the design may
be changed. And sweep test results
should be in approved range
Earth cable
1. Connect earth cable of RRU to nearest
earth bar on tower.
2. Earth cable of RRU must be fixed well using
the two bolts.

Connectors should be sealed well by
scotch and 3M
Fix the Sealing using black tie wraps at top at
bottom of sealing
Fixation clamps
1. Install the fiber cables on tower using
fixation clamps as shown, one stage every
feeder clamps stage
2. Installation of the cables must be in good
arrangement and parallel to avoid any crossing.
3. spacing between clamps is 1.5m.
1. Install fiber cables through macaroni flexible in
BBU.
2. Install fiber cables inside thermal flexible tube from
RRU port to the 1st clamp on the tower.

after entrance till cabinet entrance by 50 cm.
5. Arrange Power and fiber cables using double
clamps in the cable tray till entrance of cabinet.
Fiber extra length should be arranged and
routed in cable tray in circles and without
sharp pending, every cable has separate
extra length circle
need photo for indoor solution
Printed labels
Fiber cables should be labeled correctly
and in case of plastic labels have wrong
description, it is allowed to use printed
label in this way
1. For OD we Connect the RRUs either to the C.Bs of
APM for DBS3900 (20 A or 25 A according to the
Version of the APM) or through New DC BOX
which Contain (10* 30 A) Fuse.
2. For ID, we deliver DC BOX with the ID Site in order
to connect the RRUs to the Rectifier.
3. The 30A is designed to meet the requirement of
higher power consumption of BBU/RRU in the
future.

insulation tape
3rd: 3 layers of tape
Finally, secure the sealing
by top and bottom black tie-
wraps
If cable should be arranged in clamps all
over the tower, one stage every feeder
clamps stage
If cable should be installed in cable tray
parallel to the feeders using clamps
In case of congested cable tray it can be
systemized by wide black tie warp
IF cable to be routed in one of cable
tray sides , to be fixed properly by
wide plastic tie wraps or clamps
1- IF cable earth kit should be installed
every 20 meters
2- Sealing of the earth kit should be done
carefully in 3 steps:
1. 1layers of 3M
2. 3 layers of water proof
3. 3 Layers of 3M again
Outdoor wide black tie-
wraps should be used at
top and bottom of the
sealing to protect it
