SEEDLINGS
The Seedlings can be placed in the backpack slots, which will transfer each step’s energy so that they
grow as you walk. Once the required number of steps has been reached, they can grow by swiping up.
You can grow multiple Pikmin at once by swiping your finger fast on all of them!
Basically, this is the PoGo Egg Hatch, but it goes by steps rather than distance traveled.
Steps are counted in the background when the app is not open with minimal battery usage.
Although this does not work on all mobile devices ... (Let's see if they fix it)
The game also has Adventure Sync: Android (Google Fit), iOS (Health).
If you reach 50,000 steps, the Seedlings will stop growing until the next day.
Little by little you will unlock different types of Seedlings as you level up.
Note: You can only have a maximum of 30 Seedlings in reserve (not including currently growing ones), but this can be
expanded in the store.

WHAT’S A PIKMIN?
Pikmin have different colours and an anthropomorphic body (legs, hands, arms, two eyes, and feet).
The different Pikmin colours are caused by special characteristics which the game will tell you about when
you grow them.
A Pikmin becomes a "Decor Pikmin" when it carries a specific object from the place where it was born.
For example, if you find a Seedling near a coffee shop, the Pikmin you pluck from it may be carrying a cup of
coffee.
Here are the known methods for transforming a normal Pikmin into a Decor Pikmin:
- Grow a Huge Seedling
- Increase the friendship level of the Pikmin
When you give nectar to it or send it on an Expedition, its friendship level increases a bit.
When it has reached friendship level 4, this means that you and your Pikmin are close friends, and it will
tell you about a special object that you can find where it was born (the place where you found the
Pikmin in the form of a Seedling).
If you send the Pikmin on an Expedition to bring you that item (in a Gift Box), it will put it on and turn into
a Decor Pikmin.

Roadside Pikmin get their

LIFELOG & DETECTOR
There are some useful ways to find Pikmin on the map: the Lifelog and the Detector.
The Lifelog:
- Tap the map that shows your steps to access the Lifelog. Here you can upload photos and notes.
- There is a max. of 4 pics per day, but only one of them will trigger an Expedition that day.
- When you upload a photo, tap on the Location to select where the picture was taken.
- An Expedition will appear at that selected location (it may take more than one photo).
The Detector:
- Only one free use every 24h. You can have more than one by buying them with 100 coins.
- Take a good look, at the icons that appear on the detector.
- Pressing “Use” will allow you detect one or more nearby Fruit and/or Seedlings.
Use the detector carefully and looking for those icons,
that way you will complete your Decor Pikmin Collections.

PIKMIN SQUAD
Your Pikmin will join your squad as soon as there is a free spot.
The Pikmin quantity you can have in your squad will grow gradually with your level.
Here you can feed your Pikmin with nectar to collect flower petals, as well as Fruit and Seedlings that may be
found by your Pikmin while you walk.
You can even collect your Expeditions or Challenges here when they come back with the prizes :D
The rest of your Pikmin can be seen by tapping on the Pikmin icon and can be changed into/out of your
squad as needed.
The Whistle:
- Tap Once to get their attention.
- Long press on the whistle to gather them up in the center.
- Tap twice (fast) to collect Fruit / Seedlings that your Pikmin found, and change to your favourites.
Tapping the whistle 2 times should always bring your favourites to the squad but sometimes brings ones with leaf or bud. Feed them!
- Tap three (fast) times to change all your Pikmin, this is useful to feed the ones with leaves.
If you want a specific Pikmin to always stay in your squad, mark it as a favorite.
NOTE: Only 300 Pikmin can be stored, but this can be expanded in the store with real money
If you release any Pikmin you will get 10 petals of the colour it has in the head, but as a common flower.

FRUIT
There are two types of Fruit in Pikmin Bloom:
➔ The small ones can be collected by Pikmin as you walk, and will give 3 units of nectar.
➔ The big ones can only be collected sending Pikmin to Expeditions (at level 6) or Mushroom
Challenges (at level 15), or by blooming a big flower.

FEEDING THE SQUAD!
Have you already gathered enough Nectar? Well, it's time to feed your hungry Pikmin.
But before that we must look at the head of the Pikmin, because it has 3 stages in which it will be hungry.

How to feed them without wasting nectar?
- Select the Nectar.
- Hold down the whistle to gather them on the center.
- Drag the nectar (without releasing it!) on top of your Pikmin.
- You will see how they jump to catch their Nectar.
What if there is no flower, and they do not eat anymore?
- Each flower has 6 petals, so you can feed them 6 times.
If your Pikmin no longer has a flower, you will have to wait for another
leaf to grow.

LET’S PLANT!
To plant flowers while walking:
1. Tap the Flower button in the lower right part of the screen
2. Select any Petal Bottle of the flower of your choosing.
3. Tap the Start button
When you start, you won't stop planting flowers until you've run out of petals in the bottle or until you tap
the "Stop" button - you will keep planting even if you close the app. It is not necessary to look at the screen
while planting flowers, so you can put your phone in your pocket and enjoy the walk.
When you finish planting, you will see how many flowers you have planted.
At any time you can change to other flowers just by pressing another type. This won’t interrupt the
number of flowers planted, which is very useful for not wasting rarer flower petals.
Important: You can only plant in the same spot every 5 minutes, so keep walking and return after those 5 minutes.

WHY PLANTING?
➔ Seedlings will grow faster while planting. Max 30% bonus.
Planting flowers while walking will grant bonus steps for your Seedlings.
It’s not initially 30% but it will reach this maximum quantity the more you walk while planting.
➔ You will earn coins. For this you have to plant batches of 500 flowers in a row (per planting session).
So 500 will be 1 coin, 1000 = 2 coins, 2500 = 5 coins… and so on...
You can get up to 30 coins per day.
➔ Bloom big flowers.
To learn about how to grow and bloom big flowers, checkout the section: “Big Flowers” on page 17.
Advice:
If you take a larger squad with you, you will plant more flowers over the same distance.

Try to plant 1000, 1500, 2000 or more flowers!

PLANT WITH OTHERS
The default mode is solo, but you can walk in company mode
once you've started planting flowers.
On the right side of the petal bottle there is a button: ”With Others”,
all you need to do is tap to plant in this mode, and see each other.
The effects of planting flowers are the same in both modes
for each player. However, in company mode
you will see your friends planting as they walk beside you.
Note: Other players can see the flower trails where you have planted flowers. The flowers that you planted can be seen on the other players’
Walk View screen. (The screen doesn’t show any information about who planted the flowers.)
In addition, planting flowers in the “With Others” mode shares your Mii and Pikmin Squad on the other players’ Walk View screen when
those players are also planting flowers in the “With Others” mode. Please note “With Others” mode is not available for Child Accounts
(Niantic Kids or Nintendo accounts under Supervised Status)

BIG FLOWERS
On the map you will be able to see fixed points with what appear to be large buds. You may wonder what its purpose
is - it is none other than to get nectar.
How to make them bloom?
For that we have to plant within the radius 300 flowers (inside the circle that surrounds them)
Growing the giant flowers is shared with other players, they all count.
When do I get the Fruit?
When all the flowers have been planted, the flower opens and releases a gift, which you can collect as if it were an
Expedition.
It will always give you nectar the colour of the flower, but you must have contributed to its flowering in the final
moments of it, even if you do not make it bloom yourself. This fruit will be visible to all players who contributed with their
petals around big flowers, but they need to return to the flower during its blooming.
What kinds of big flowers will bloom?
The flower that blooms will depend on the flowers grown around it, the most common colour and type will have a
greater chance of coming out, although it may come out at higher type.
To get a specific colour plant 160 or more flowers of that colour you want.

Flowers on the ground last for 5 days, with the exception
of petals that are within a big flower radius without
blooming.
Big flowers will last 23 hours and once wilted they erase
all flowers from their radius.

EXPEDITIONS
The Expeditions have two purposes:
- They allow us to get objects (nectar & Seedlings)
- They allow us to raise friendship of our Pikmin.
For Expeditions to appear, you have to walk and go to different places in your area, so you will get more.
If you stay in a fixed place they do not appear.
Where can I find the Expeditions?
- In the Expeditions tab
- Directly on the map on today's view (where the steps are displayed)
- Pressing the whistle once, two icons appear at the top (Postcards and Expeditions)
- In the game screen as you walk, they will appear as shiny fruit or Seedlings.
I still cannot find the Expeditions...
Remember that they are only available at level 6.
If you keep failing try the following:
1. Give Pikmin Bloom permission to access your location even when the app is not
open, so you can get the locations in the background.
(Give permission to always allow on devices. Notice: It does not work on all)
2. In game options, have the option "Store my footprints" activated

HOW TO DO EXPEDITIONS
1. Select the Fruit or Seedling you want.
2. Select the Pikmin group that will go in to the Expedition.
Each object has a required weight and number of Pikmin that you can send. When selecting one you
will see a fraction with the strength of the selected Pikmin and the minimum number to send, as well
as the time it will take. Always send twice as many Pikmin as the minimum. As we saw before, each
Pikmin has a force and a speed.
3. Tap the Go button.
You will see the current location of the Pikmin that have gone on an Expedition from the Expeditions
tab of the map.
4. Over time they will return: tap to pick up from the map
Advice:
“If you send squads of the same colour, they will be faster than if you combine them”

MUSHROOM CHALLENGES
Does size influence?
There are four sizes: the
bigger the better the
prize, but the more
difficulty.
Better with friends !!
What do they do?
You send your Pikmin to
attack them, and they come
back with fruit and a
postcard.
Can I do it alone?
Yes, of course, however if
your friends join the
challenge you can get a
better score.
Does colour influence?
It is best to send Pikmin with:
- Full Friendship (4 hearts)
- Flower in head (Pansy or Rose)
- Same colour as the Mushroom.
