2. OBJECTIVES
• Make the WCG Instagram page more inviting
and organize our content in a way that can help
attract new employees/clients.

3. Fun, relatable infographics can be high-
performing on Instagram
TIP #1
Adding Story Highlights will offer a great
opportunity to drive attention to important
content and details about our brand.
See Appendix, Pg. 1 for more examples.
TIP #2

TAKEAWAYS

4. Instagram Reels are a useful tool to grow
our following and increase engagement
TIP #3
Brand Personality = High Engagement
TIP #4
See Appendix, Pg. 2 for more examples.

6. The short, entertaining videos have a special way of
grabbing users’ attention, which can mean lots of
engagement for our brand.
Reels are currently favored by the Instagram algorithm,
which is more likely to recommend them to people who don’t
follow you than feed posts (huge plus for marketing)
• “Reels garner 13% higher engagement than other
forms of content on Instagram” (Spaceback).

10. WHAT WE
COULD DO
• Our blog posts is our lowest performing content
on Instagram. We can entice people to read our
blogs with short and impactful summarized
content along with brand graphics.
• Using our brand colors on our socials will help
make our posts look more unified and boost
brand recognition
See Appendix, Pgs. 3 - 7 for more examples.
One thing that all our competitors had
in common design wise were that as a
brand, they could easily be identified
by their color palette, but they made
each post new and interesting by
designing different layouts.
They also made posts to better relate
to their followers. Posts that ask
questions or even memes gives them
high engagement from their following.

11. Stock images are being used from the blog posts, which creates a lack of
brand. There’s no real sense of WCG personality

Putting a bigger emphasis on a brand style and color palette, our
social posts will look much more unified and give the Wilks brand
much more personality.

12. BLOG STYLE #1
This blog style consists of a purple overlay over a blurred image. It also uses bold type and graphics similar
to the ones designed for the WCG blogs. For blogs including data, simple graphics like the ones seen on the
right display quick bits of information, but doesn’t it doesn’t give away the most important details.
11
13. Using iconography or designs that
are featured on the blogs could
also help with brand recognition
12
14. BLOG STYLE #2
This blog style consists of a wavy grid background and will feature a social or webpage graphic. These will
also contain a purple overlay and graphics similar to the ones used for the blogs. These posts would be great
for blogs that have to do with e-commerce or social media.
