Future social networking services (SNS) will become virtual plazas where all interactions between people and data occur. SNS interfaces will expand beyond websites to wearable devices like smartwatches, glasses, and jewelry. Content on SNS will be highly personalized and SNS will function as a search engine. All communications and applications will be integrated into SNS through connections to people and devices via technologies like the Internet of Things. SNS will incorporate virtual and augmented reality so that online interactions feel as real as offline ones.
3. Future SNS will expand from the mere platform where
people produce, manufacture, share and consume
information to a ‘Virtual Plaza’ where all interactions
between people and data occur.

5. 01
function overview
SNS involves much of sharing photos, videos and messages.
There will be more desire for sharing moments with others
and the sharing methods will increase as well.
6. Interface is not limited to a particular website, but it could be contact
lenses, watch, glasses, necklace, which is physically closer in personal
reach. Also SNS will incorporate various technologies such as gesture/
motion recognition and voice recognition.

8. Now we see the interfaces on screen with physical devices but we
would be able to project an interface (screen) with hologram anytime
and anywhere. It will also give auditory or tactile feedbacks utilising
Artificial Intelligence.

03
9. Also the contents offered by SNS would be personalised to users.
And SNS would work as a search engine as well. As SNS provides
more personalised contents, those personalised contents
would have bigger decision making power.

04
10. Calls, messages, e-mail, personal apps (scheduling, alarm, notes etc.)
all become integrated into SNS with no specific interface
limited to a “website.”

11. With the development of the iOT’s, everything will be connected
to the SNS. So we can be connected to anyone with any of
the devices around us.
function overview
06
12. Online interaction will be as active as offline interaction now. SNS will
have another form of Virtual Reality. People would feel as if they are in
another world where everything they do is tracked down and
presented like the game SIMS.

13. We would be able to teleport with holograms and Augmented
Reality programs.
