The document describes the APHIF Duval collaborative model for building local public health informatics capacity through an academic health department partnership. METHOD
The APHIF was hosted by the
Florida Health Department in Duval
County, leveraging a formal
partnership between the Institute
for Public Health Informatics and
Research (IPHIR) and the University
of Florida College of Medicine
(UF-COM), Jacksonville’s Center for
Health Equity, Quality and Research
(CHEQR).
RESULTS

primary/tertiary healthcare and public
