the basic principles of ecology and to live accordingly.

Urban Spon.ge is a critic urban space that comes from the
idea of a receptive network able to take in data and give back
organizational answers transforming its own shape.
Individuality of single subjects who live and use the space;
socializing in order to guarantee diverse and always new
occasions for living together and sharing spaces, creating
a desire of “belonging”; ecololgy (oikos, “house” ; logos,
“speech”) that sets rules and life of the system. These are
the variables of this system that allow to join shape, functions
and urban performances; organisms inhabited by each single
citizen who lives in flats or offices, shared in the community
of internal courtyards or bioclimatic greenhouses in order to
make the built dimension energetically self sufficient.
