Dear Kate:
I am writing to inquire about any possible work placements or job opportunity that you may have. I am extremely interested in graphic design and would like
the opportunity to explore pathways within the industry. I have investigated University based routes but I have decided that gaining real world experience will
be beneficial before I pursue a career in graphic design.
Graphic design excites me; knowing that eventually I will have the skill set to ‘wow’ people with my work. I enjoyed being able to entertain and grasp the
attention of other human beings through what I have created and be proud of it and would love to continue doing so. I am currently studying a media diploma
at Long Road Sixth Form college, due to finish with a predicted Distinction Merit, Merit in june. From my time at Long Road I already have a wide skill set: I can
use both Photoshop and Illustrator, I can use a tablet, I’m good within a working environment independently and within a team. I enjoy listening to others and
