1. Picture 1.1 shows the man who was being
interviewed by us few weeks ago and this
was what he gave us.
Ar Abdul Karim Hussein, the man in
picture 1.1, graduated from Deakin
University which is in Australia in 1982.
He also mentioned that he was always
interested in buildings, constructions and
lego blocks when he was a kid. His father
actually bought him a lego house set
which was the best thing he had ever
received from his father. His father almost
confiscated his lego house set due to him
playing non-stop. During his secondary
school life, there was a big mosque
construction across his school and he
always looked at it because he was
thinking what it is going to be like in a
construction site. Not only that, his father

2. got him floor tiles that was being used for
golden dorm which surprised him. He
said that if you look closely to it, it will
be transparent and when you look from
far distance, its actually in solid gold.
That was why he was inspired to become
a successful architect. As the cover said
he has worked in TONS of projects and
how long did he work as an architect.
Well, this was this was what we asked.
1. Could you give us a rough estimate of the
numbers of projects that you have done
throughout your career?
- I have worked for 33 years and I
usually handle 2-3 projects every
years, so its around 100 projects
including big and small projects.
At his time to become a certified
architect, he has to sit for professional
exam after he graduated. He took quite
some time to become a certified architect
because he has to fill in his log book and
pass the exams. And then took his exam
at Sabah and sat for the exam at Australia.
Therefore, its roughly 3 years after he
graduated.
