Ar Abdul Karim Hussein graduated from Deakin University in Australia in 1982. He had always been interested in construction and architecture as a child. His father gave him a Lego house set that inspired his interest in buildings. During secondary school, he was fascinated watching construction of a nearby mosque. He became an architect and has worked on around 100 projects over 33 years, averaging 2-3 projects per year. It took him roughly 3 years after graduating to become a certified architect, which involved completing experience logs and passing professional exams.
