INTRODUCTION:
Human milk is the best option for infant
nutrition up to 1 year of age. Breast milk
consists of a number of micronutrients
that are called bio-available, meaning
these nutrients are available in quantities
and qualities that make growth.
DEFINITION:
Breastfeeding is the feeding of an infant
or young child with milk from a woman's
breasts. Babies have a sucking reflex that
enables them to suck and swallow milk.
