This document discusses the author's experiences working with websites and hosting companies over the past decade. While there is a lot of information available online about hosting, the author feels compelled to share their experiences with disasters caused by terrible hosting services that cost thousands. The author recommends paid hosting over free hosting for websites planning to make money. Paid hosting starting at less than $50 per year can sufficiently host a single site. The author hopes to both share their hosting experiences and learn from others' experiences with hosting companies.

1. hi
Hello and happy hosting. Sorry that's cheesy but I couldn't resist. A part of me feels a but redundant
starting a blog about hosting. I mean there is a lot of knowledge on the subject out there so you
could probably find what you need elsewhere. But I do feel like I should share my experiences of
working with websites and hosting companies for over a decade and help people get the service they
need and deserve. I have had some disasters before and lost thousands of pounds due to terrible
hosting service and to be frank a lot of the time I didn't even realise that it was happening. Most
people just want to get the cheapest hosting available and in some instances that may be the right
way to go. You can get free hosting but for most people I strongly recommend against it. If you are
planning on making any money from your website you should definitely go down the paid for route.
In most instances you should go for paid hosting. You can get decent hosting for less than $50 a year
if you just want to get a single site hosted.
I want to share my experiences of hosting with you and hopefully learn more about hosting from you
and your experiences. If you have had a good hosting company for a few years especially a lesser
known golden gem then please get in touch.
Thanks for stopping by and looking at the content.
