The history about Big-Ben
The Big-ben or in other words Clock Tower or
Elizabeth Tower is one of the important
monuments in London. Consisted in a tower
with four clocks on it sides. Began to build on
1843, when there was the fire as Westminster
Palace .
The construction was finished in 1859.

He was an English architect , know for
designing, part of Big Ben, Westminster Palace

on 1812, in London, and died in 14
September, on 1852.
He was an English architect , know
for designing part of the Big Ben and
Westminster Palace.

that the clock is not delayed a second. To
achieve this they help of cent coins.

delay time of watches from all four sides of
the tower.
❏ It is the second largest four-sided clock.
❏ The clock is bending more and more.
❏ There are several imitations of the clock,
all over the world.

Why doesn’t sounds ??
Almost, two years ago , that the Big Ben doesn’t
sound.
Doesn’t sound, since this reform.
It had 157 years without reforming, and in 2017
they decided to start to reform it.
Clock will not return to sound untill 2021,
approximately.
Personal opinion
We really liked doing this work and we have to
recognize that we would like to go and look
near.
We love London.
