Senator Martha Fuller Clark Hosts Movie Night Fundraiser at the
Music Hall in Portsmouth
Portsmouth, NH June 2, 2006 –
State Senator Martha Fuller Clark (D – District 24) is pleased to announce a fundraiser for her
reelection campaign to the State Senate on June 11th, at the Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH. The
award winning and Oscar nominated political documentary “Street Fight” will be shown. The
Music Hall has agreed to do an exclusive one night only Seacoast premiere of the movie. Tickets
for the Movie Night are only $10 and doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with a brief reception and a
short welcome by Sen. Fuller Clark.

“Street Fight” follows the bare-knuckles race for mayor of Newark, NJ. An urban David and
Goliath story, the film chronicles the struggle against the city’s political machine, which uses
harassment and voter intimidation to hold onto power. The documentary sheds light on important
American questions about democracy, poverty and - perhaps most important - race.
