- 3. 2009 Poinsettia Cultivar Evaluation We conducted poinsettia cultivar evaluations for 10 years. Our last year to conduct a trial was conducted in 2004 with 139 cultivars. We have decided to return to conducting this trial. For 2009, we had 80 cultivars that have been submitted to the trial by our cooperators.
