Grandma Joins the All Blacks.<br /> We are writing to explain how grandma came to be the captain of the All Blacks!<br />Grandma became the captain of the All Blacks because she was a super supporter. <br />The All Blacks choose her because she was their favourite because she had given them a teaspoon of marmalade each, to perk them up when they were feeling down. <br />To be more precise, one morning Grandma made marmalade. She gave them marmalade and they perked up instantly before their game because she carried some marmalade in her handbag everywhere she went out.<br />(Mrs Funnell’s suggestion)<br />The morning that Grandma had made fresh marmalade, she had a phone call from Graham Henry to say the All Blacks needed perking up before their next game. Because she carries marmalade in her handbag everywhere she goes, she hurried to the stadium immediately. Instantly the team perked up once they had a teaspoon each of the delicious orange marmalade.<br /> There was another game and the All Blacks wouldn’t get out of bed, so the coach (Graham),rang up grandma, and she knew just what to do. She gave them marmalade again.<br />Richie McCaw was sick.
