2. SIP Scoring
• Sip scoring is used to decide which SIPs
should be created first.
• This is done to focus resources including
money, time and experience, in the most
efficient manner.
• This will be done using two basic
criteria, resources and mission, which are
further split into sub categories.
• Points are assigned to each criteria in
order to rank SIPs.
3. Keys to scoring
• Keep it simple: Fewer categories
and small scales make scoring
clear and quick.
• Use only useful categories and
group similar ideas when possible.
• Keep the results in mind.
4. Scores
Resources (1-3)
• Cost (data and man hours)
• Production time (How long will it take
us to produce?)
• Available resources (experience, data)
Mission (1-3)
• Prevention
• Detection
• Response
