Charles Johnson, known by his stage name Y.S.L. (Young Street Legend), is a rapper from North Philadelphia who has been rapping since age 13. Growing up in a single parent home, Y.S.L. draws on his experiences to write relatable lyrics. After a brief stint in prison where he focused on his music, Y.S.L. began taking his career seriously by educating himself on the music industry. Currently, Y.S.L. is gearing up to release his debut album and hopes to inspire up-and-coming artists by working hard and staying true to their art.
