The supplements are promoted through various websites provided in the text.
This document discusses several key topics related to cyber security:
1. Basic cyber hygiene can prevent 99% of attacks, but more sophisticated attacks may still succeed. Password resets are often the weakest link due to easy-to-guess secret questions.
2. By 2025, privacy is expected to be almost non-existent while e-commerce security will be close to perfect. Nation-state threats will be better contained but asymmetric non-state threats will remain.
3. Cyber security will evolve from a focus on integrity, availability, and confidentiality to also consider usage and purpose. Attackers continue to innovate while defenders need new strategies beyond pure defense like counterattacking.

There are many things that make Ruby a great language, but above all else, the beautiful and friendly syntax. A perfect exemplar of this is the case statement: case enables a flexible method of dispatching on an object that is both natural and intuitive. But case can't do it alone. No, it requires the help of it's little-known and under-appreciated sidekick the === (threequals) operator.
In this talk we'll dive into this fascinating corner of the Ruby language and see what trouble we can cause with the humble threequals. We'll go over the basics of how it interacts with case, and then go into some tips and tricks for making the most of this useful bit of syntax, and ultimately create a little pattern matching mini-language as a demonstration.

- Airbus used Twitter to promote and share details of its new A350 aircraft's maiden flight in real-time, tweeting photos and Vine videos.
- This engagement strategy kept their audience informed and excited during the entire flight. Within one day, they gained over 4,000 new Twitter followers.
- By utilizing social media to broadcast the live launch, Airbus effectively raised awareness of the new aircraft and inspired positive sentiment, achieving the first major social media aircraft launch.
Automation consultants Company profile - jan 2015Ila Group
Automation Consultants is an IT consulting firm that has evolved over the past 30+ years from software development to providing various software solutions as a service. It offers a range of business management software tools through a SaaS model that can be used by organizations to manage functions like personnel, payroll, training services, libraries, press/media, workflows, assets, fleets, workshops, and more. It also provides tools for IT service management, video surveillance, and an Arabic pre-processor API to facilitate software arabization. Automation Consultants has a strong client base in Egypt and other MENA countries.
1. The document provides a recipe for breaking apart a monolithic software system into microservices without overloading development teams.
2. The recipe involves instrumenting the monolith to understand data flows, aligning team boundaries with natural segments of the code, and splitting the system into independent services one segment at a time.
3. The goal is to reduce cognitive load on development teams by separating codebases, deployments, and responsibilities into independent subsystems that match team capabilities and domains of expertise.
How to break apart a monolithic system safely without destroying your team - talk at Velocity Eu Amsterdam on 7 Nov 2016
You'll learn some team-first heuristics to use when decomposing large or monolithic software into smaller pieces.

Continuous Delivery techniques and practices are often misunderstood. This session will explore some Continuous Delivery anti-patterns based on work 'in the wild' with a wide range of organisations across different industry sectors:
- Believing that "Continuous Delivery is not for us"
- Ignoring the database
- Thinking that a deployment pipeline is just a series of chained jobs in Jenkins
- Not measuring delays between value-add activities
- Ignoring Cost-of-Delay and job size
- Not funding the build/test/deployment capability properly
By avoiding these pitfalls, we can increase the effectiveness of our software delivery efforts.
Attendees will learn:
1. Why Continuous Delivery (CD) is useful for almost all modern software
2. How to approach CD for databases
3. How to make CD really 'fly' within the organisation
4. How to 'sell' CD to business stakeholders
How to break apart a monolithic system safely without destroying your team
Moving from a monolith to microservices can be daunting. How do we choose the right bounded contexts? How small should services be? Which teams should get which services? And how do we keep things from falling apart?
By starting with the needs of the team, we can infer some useful heuristics for evolving from a monolithic architecture to a set of more loosely coupled services.
