How to move on after your break up- The right way! Gaurav Tiwari
The document provides advice for moving on after a breakup. It suggests that people often forget who they were before the relationship and lose themselves. To move on, one must remember the confident, independent person they were before and reclaim that identity. It argues that one likely ditched themselves first by giving up who they were for the other person. To fully move on, one must point the finger at themselves for changing instead of blaming the ex-partner, and work to bring back the "real" self that still exists deep down. Reconnecting with that true identity is presented as the key to claiming oneself back and achieving the ability to fully move on from the past relationship.
The document provides advice to a graduating class from 1999. It emphasizes using sunscreen to protect skin long term. And the semester has officially began! I hope you have already sta.docxrossskuddershamus
And the semester has officially began! I hope you have already started to read Search Inside Yourself (SIY) and it is challenging your current ways of thinking. Some of you may believe whole-heartedly in what this book advocates for, and others may still be a bit skeptical; either way, that is okay. Regardless, I am appreciative of you opening your minds and exploring different types of knowledge. Much of what SIY discusses has sincerely changed my life. Through meditation and positive thinking I have learned to control my emotions and accomplish more than I could have imagined prior to my own discoveries of what SIY discusses.
I would like this week's reflection to be a chance to search inside yourselves and discover a bit more about your identity. An identity which you have the ability to create, and recreate, and then recreate again if you feel the urge to do so. Always remember, the footprint and impact you choose to leave on this planet and our society is YOUR choice. Contrary to all the naysayers, this is YOUR life. Contrary to all the negative energy you may come across that seems so hard to avoid and not let affect you, this is YOUR life.
One of the joys I hope to bring to your lives is the discovery that you do in fact control your attitude, your future, and the influence you have on others around you (whether good or bad, this is your choice). Unfortunately, there is a tremendous amount of hatred circumventing our existence. This hatred spreads like wildfire and causes much violence and unrest within and across the many cultures of the world. Where and when does it stop? It stops from the realization that not only do you NOT have to be a part of it, but you can actually reverse it by spreading kindness and compassion to others. Kindness and compassion is contagious and can be taught and learned.
One way I have learned to teach this is by showing others how to reflect on their daily habits and unveil the subconscious thoughts and attitudes that perpetuate these same habits. Meditation is an amazing tool to help one search inside themselves, by using brief moments in our chaotic daily lives to think, and exist, at a much deeper level through reflection and awareness. Slow, deep, full breaths helps us slow down the world around us in order to see things a bit more clearly. Clearly enough to recognize the potential that you possess. The potential to help others in need. The potential to bring a greater sense of fulfillment to your own lives.
Take a moment at this point to sit up in a tall, comfortable position....... and breath...... slow.... deep.... breaths.... please take as long as feels good here before you continue....
Hopefully you are feeling a bit more relaxed and thinking a bit more clearly now. Maintaining your composure, please answer the following questions. Be honest. As always, no judgment on my end or yours.
(1) Are you happy with what is currently going on in your life? Why? Why not?
(2) Envisioning your ide.

Eliminate negative thoughts and lose weightHo Wei Cheong
This document discusses eliminating negative self-talk to lose weight. It argues that many people's negative beliefs about themselves originated from comments others made in the past and have taken on a false truth. However, one's true self is the joyful bundle of potential they were born with. By catching and modifying negative thoughts like "I'm too fat" and instead focusing on positive qualities, one can improve their emotional state and accomplish their goals, including weight loss. Loving oneself through positive self-talk allows one's natural enthusiasm and success to emerge, which dissolves negative beliefs and weight simultaneously.
You think thousands of thoughts each day. You talk to yourself more than anyone else. You are your most trusted advisor and confidant. Many of the conversations that you have with yourself you would never share with anyone else because to do so would expose the “real” you. The you that is filled with self-doubt, worries, sadness, guilt, hurts and disappointments.

On Storytelling & Magic Realism in Rushdie’s Midnight’s Children, Shame, and ...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT: Salman Rushdie’s novels are humorous books about serious times. His cosmopolitanism and
hybrid identity allowed him access to multiple cultures, religions, languages, dialects, and various modes of
writing. His style is often classified as magic realism, blending the imaginary with the real. He draws
inspiration from both English literature and Indian classical sources. Throughout his works, there is a lineage of
‘bastards of history’, a carnival of shameful characters scrolling all along his works. Rushdie intertwines fiction
with reality, incorporating intertextual references to Western literature in his texts, and frequently employing
mythology to explore history. This paper focuses on Rushdie’s three novels: Midnight’s Children, Shame, and
Haroun and the Sea of Stories, analyzing his postmodern storytelling techniques that aim to explore human
vices and follies while offering socio-political criticism.

CYBER SECURITY ENHANCEMENT IN NIGERIA. A CASE STUDY OF SIX STATES IN THE NORT...
Your value and your worth
1. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
This is a dollar bill, now if I go to a store and there is something that costs 90
cents, can I buy it with this dollar bill? So if I go to a store and there is
something that costs 85 cents and after VAT it costs 96 cents, Can I still buy it
with this dollar bill?
So what if I crumple this dollar bill up? Think about it, I just crumpled this
dollar bill up so technically it still cant be worth a dollar anymore? Its probably
like..what say 95 cents? How much do you think its worth?
Listen carefully, you’ll gotta pay attention, I just crumpled the dollar bill up
so clearlyits not worth a dollar anymore….? So what if I stomped on it now, I
just stomped on it right? How much is it worth now?…Maybe 68 cents, how
about maybe 65 cents? Is it still worth a dollar?
Okay so if I crumpled it again, then I stomped on it and then I put it I the
thrash and its just lying there in the trash can with some bottles, some chewing
gum, some snack packs and a while bunch of other nasty stuff and then I go now
and pick it up, unfold it, how much is it worth right now? Anyone? Maybe 53
cents, how about lets say 50 cents? Okay.
So what if I crumpled it up again, stomped on it, put it in the thrash and
watch now I tear it half. Think about it is it still worth a dollar? So wait a minute,
2. I just crumpled it, stomped on it, threw it in the thrash and ripped it in half and
what if I now tape it back up?How much is it worth now? Is it still worth a
dollar?
Then why does this dollar does not lose its value, its worth, then why do you
feel like you’ve lost your value and worth? Because many of you’ll here today
feel like you’ve been stomped on, you felt as if you’ve been pushed aside, you
feel like like you’ve been abandoned, you feel like you’ve been talked about,
you feel like you’ve been abused, like someone took something away from you,
someone hurt you, somebody took advantage of you and deep down inside your
core you feel like if you’ve lost some of your value.
I’m here to tell you today that this dollar still has worth because there were
some men, years ago they put value over this dollar bill right here and they said
no matter what happened to I, it could still be taped backed together, it could still
be wiped off and I am here to tell you that you were born and created I your own
likeness, and you have purpose and you have value and though you are going
through some hard times, and though you have been experiencing some
depression and you might be wanting to hurt yourself and you just wanna give
up, I’m here to tell you that you still got worth and value and there is nothing
that can happen to you that could take your value away.
3. So what you’ve gotta do now is you’ve gotta take yourself up, you’ve gotta
dust yourself off and you’ve gotta keep moving forward.
