BoMF Young Professional Board Vision
The Young Professional Board for Back on My Feet Indianapolis will support and uphold to the mission and values of Back on
My Feet. Our board will consist of ten individuals who demonstrate a strong love and desire to make an impact on our
members. The board will assist BoMF Indy office in the execution of fundraising and recruiting events and help to bring our
members closer together with our volunteers. In addition, the board will bring awareness to other Indianapolis young
professionals about the Back on My Feet Mission.
Expectations of the Indianapolis Young Professional Board
• Attend the monthly young professional board meeting
• As a whole, the board will need to form a minimum of two relay teams at our annual Marathon Relay
• The young professional board will be expected to fill at least two tables at the annual Birthday Bash.
• In some way financially commit to Back on My Feet through an annual give/get of $100 to the Indy Chapter; or donate an
item that will generate a minimum $100 revenue.
• Be expected to attend and volunteer at least once at 1 for 1 Race.
• Be part of the annual 180 Degree Challenge, where the board brings in a minimum of $2,000 in revenue.
• Support the decisions made by the Advisory Board and follow through on Advisory Board requests.

BoMF Young Professional Board Structure
While each of the three teams have their individual tasks, it will be expected that the Young Professional Board work as a
collective unit to bring the most success to the Indianapolis Chapter of Back on My Feet.
How will we help you accomplish these tasks?
• Provide full support and updates on what is going on at Back on My Feet Indianapolis
• Provide any and all resources needed to carry out any YPB tasks
• Provide opportunities for the YPB to connect with one another and use each other’s strengths to benefit the board as a
whole
• This team of three will be in charge of creating
opportunities to partner with Indy organizations,
restaurants, bars, gyms, and corporations. They will
help form the Birthday Bash Planning Committee and
be in charge of the smooth completion of the event. In
addition they will help bring in sponsorships and
donations to the Birthday Bash
Fundraising Team
(3 members)
• This team will be slightly more tim consuming. At least
one member of this board will need to be in attendance
at each on of BoMF's Recruitment events. These events
include Community Nights, National Running Day
events, and IndyVolved events.
• The board members on the Recruitment team will also
create an outreach program to bring in volunteers for the
One for One Program and recruit BoMF FundRacers.
Recruitment Team

• The entertainment members will be implementing the
Sponsor-a-Member Program, pairing new volunteers
with members. They will also be in charge of a monthly
all chapter Fun-run to help bond both the Manchester
and Wheeler Teams. The hospitality team will bring
snacks and beverages to monthly BoMF races for
members.
• In addition to ensuring our members feel comfortable,
this team will be in charge of the bi-annual Appreciation
nights for both the YP Board and the Advisory Board.
