Young Gloucestershire seeks to establish an endowment fund to provide sustainable funding for their youth programs. Donations to the fund would be invested, with the annual earnings used to support Young Gloucestershire's work. They are looking for help developing a brand and marketing strategy to promote the fund to corporate donors. The goals are to generate a list of target companies, understand the corporate perspective, and create promotional materials and tools to engage donors in contributing to the long-term fund. Young Gloucestershire representatives will be available at the event to present on the project.

The Football+ Foundation has developed a Manual to initially help the football clubs towards a sustainable CSR policy. This Manual serves as a starter kit and offers inspiration to clubs who wish to start with social action. But it is equally useful for clubs who want to continue to grow their community action.
The Manual also makes you familiarise in the way the Football+ Foundation uses the +.
After meeting with membership, ALIF conducted deeper research on the feasibility of the three most highly ranked opportunities: i) Spiritually and Culturally Focused Tourism, ii) a Multipurpose Wellness Centre and iii) a Band Develop Co-operative.
As Development Director, I challenged my Board of Directors to give a "stretch gift" from their tax return to help the organization reach it's fundraising goal. The letter was very successful, as longstanding members who had never given-gave for the first time.
In the eleventh issue of Together, there's the regular features on aspects of health, occupational therapy, benefits, your SAMC, and fundraising, PLUS we also have inspiring features from the world’s oldest person with spina bifida, and inspired coach Carl Eaton, who runs a vibrant football club in Skelmersdale!

We know that club meetings can become boring, repetitive, predicable, and unwelcoming to existing members, let alone potential new members. How do we improve our experiences? Let’s share our stories, explore challenges and successes together, and create an action plan to improve our meetings — and consequently our membership.

Young Gloucestershire has been in existence since 1945ish in one form or another,
working with young people to engage, encourage, enable, enjoy and empower
Their role is to help and educate young people especially, but not exclusively,
through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and
spiritual capabilities - so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and
members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved
Their vision is to be regarded by young people as the leading youth organisation in
Gloucestershire through meeting the changing needs of young people: delivering
high quality youth opportunities across the county and providing support to
voluntary sector youth organisations
Aims
1. To meet the needs of young people through supporting the development of
safe and welcoming youth environments

The brief for Ecclesiastical does Good for Nothing
Young Gloucestershire seeks to build their position in the corporate giving
market. They believe there are companies who would be willing to support
their work but want to have a long lasting benefit
They are looking for ideas on how they can best tackle this that they can take
from the event and use immediately
They propose to start an investment/endowment fund seeking donations and
contributions to be held in a pot. The interest/earnings of this pot would be used
each year by Young Glos to support their work. This means instead of someone
making a one off donation to the charity their donation no matter how small or
large is added to other donations and only the profit spent. This will impact year on
year creating a sustainable resource and income for the charity.
They would welcome regular monthly giving to the pot by individuals and
companies, yearly donations from companies or individuals. Their aim is to create a
large pool of asset that each year contributes to the core sustainability of the
charity.
Desired outcomes
A clear brand for the project
A list of companies and contacts to target
An understanding on how the corporate market would view the proposal
Suggestions on how to promote and engage the corporate market
A potential sponsor to fund the printing of the packs
A potential sponsor for the first large donation to get the fund started
A pack to distribute to corporates regarding corporate giving including:
Information about the endowment fund and its benefits
Leaflets for individuals and for the company
Information on Young Glos as a charity
Creative marketing and tools to engage interest
