Jesus tells a parable about a rich man who had a very successful harvest but was greedy. The man decided to tear down his barns to build bigger ones to store his extra crops and goods so he could relax and enjoy his wealth. But God calls him a fool for not using his abundance to help others, and tells him he will die that night. The lesson is that one's life does not consist of material possessions, but rather how generous one is with God.
