Yanbu is a city located on the coast of the Red Sea in western Saudi Arabia. It has an estimated population of 35,000 people and is divided into three sections - palm Yanbu, sea Yanbu, and Yanbu Industrial City. Yanbu was historically an important center and base of operations for Arab and British forces in the region during World War I. It has since developed into an industrial city, with King Fahd Industrial Port being the second largest industrial port in the world.
