He also requires a new PC with fast internet connection to be supplied at the restaurant’s takeaway counter. The idea is that customers will send their requests via online messaging system (chat window). On duty staff receives the order, communicates with the customer, and confirms the customer’s order and pick-up time. A confirmation email/text message will be sent to the customer and the relevant staff. Afterwards, the order will follow the normal process for takeaway orders. You are required to prepare a Project Proposal/charter covering the following requirements. 1) Create a table listing at least five Objectives (in business terms) for this project as you would word them in the Project Proposal/Charter. 2) Develop work breakdown structure (WBS) of the case study featuring 3-5 levels and 10-20 boxes. 3) Create a Chart or Table, listing all the major tasks, in sequence, and show all dependencies. 4) Draw a network diagram showing all the tasks and their dependencies (abbreviate their names if necessary). The assignment requires you to develop a test website for a “Help Desk”. The director of the company is interested in developing a test website that allows the user to register a unique job number when first registering a technical problem. You are required to develop the front end (client) of the website. The director has asked a student, Mr Blog, who is taking up Web programming to develop the back end (server) of the website that will process the data input from the front end (client).

For the week five discussion board, I focused on the National Institutes of Health (NIH), mainly because I found a really interesting, and concise, step-by-step guide for succession planning. This guide also included at table, or a 9-box approach, that indicated the criticality and vulnerability of positions. The NIH Human Resource Department has a very informative and thorough website, which I hoped would provide information on how it, as a group of institutions, measured the effectiveness of their leadership development programs. I’ve learned that they export, or sell, these leadership courses to medical practitioners globally, which may be one of the reasons they do not have as much information on assessing the value of leadership development programs as I would have hoped.
Much like Kristine, I thought I’d look into how we can describe and assess programs and then I can bring it back to the limited information I’ve found on the NIH. I liked how one of our readings this week in the context of measuring the effectiveness of a leadership development program as it relates to the costs and investment in a person or position. In the conclusions by Edwards & Turnbull (2013), their approach requires both a macro and micro view of interconnections and networks that exist and the extent in which they’ve been influenced. Additionally, in an article I found, the link between measuring the return on investment with leadership development was assessed. In many cases, there wasn’t enough tailoring of leadership programs to the business needs of an organization or company, which can make for less productive outcomes as well as difficulty in measuring the effectiveness (MeInert, 2018). In another example, a blog from the Harvard Business Learning, focus should be on the impact of a program, not the “proof†that a leadership development program was successful (Clark, 2018). Individuals, families, and groups who live in a specific geographic area and may be at risk for health problems or in need of health services are considered clients in community health nursing. People of all ages, from infants to the elderly, as well as those with physical, mental, or social challenges, may be included. The purpose of community health nursing is to promote the health and well-being of the entire community by addressing the health needs of its individual members (Rector & Stanley, 2021). Community health nurses work with clients to identify and address health risks, provide health and wellness education, and connect clients to suitable health services.
What government resources might they be eligible for?
Individuals and families may be eligible for a variety of government resources depending on their circumstances. Some of these resources are intended specifically for people with low incomes or who are experiencing financial hardship, while others are open to anyone who meets certain criteria. Among the resources available to them are (ISPOR, n.d):
1. Medicaid: It is a federal-state partnership program that provides health insurance to low-income individuals and families. Individuals must meet income and asset limits, as well as other requirements, to be eligible.
2. Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP): It is a federally funded program that provides health insurance to low-income children that are not eligible for Medicaid but cannot afford private health insurance. It provides coverage for a variety of medical services, such as preventive care, doctor visits, hospital stays, and prescription medications. Eligibility is determined by income and family size.
3. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP): It is also known as food stamps and it provides financial assistance to low-income individuals and families in order for them to purchase food. Income and assets, as well as other factors, determine SNAP eligibility.
4. Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF): This program helps low-income families with children by providing financial assistance as well as other services such as job training and childcare. Income and assets, as well as other factors, determine TANF eligibility.
5. Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP): It is program funded by the federal government that provides low-income households with financial assistance to help them pay for home energy costs such as heating and cooling. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) administers the program, which is intended to assist households that are struggling to pay their energy bills and may face having their service disconnected. The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. - 1. XYZ restaurant owner wishes to extend his current operation by adding a new webpage to the existing web site to setup an online ordering system for Takeaway Orders. This new page should have a scrolling menu and an online messaging capability to Chat with the customers. He also requires a new PC with fast internet connection to be supplied at the restaurant’s takeaway counter. The idea is that customers will send their requests via online messaging system (chat window). On duty staff receives the order, communicates with the customer, and confirms the customer’s order and pick-up time. A confirmation email/text message will be sent to the customer and the relevant staff. Afterwards, the order will follow the normal process for takeaway orders. You are required to prepare a Project Proposal/charter covering the following requirements. 1) Create a table listing at least five Objectives (in business terms) for this project as you would word them in the Project Proposal/Charter. 2) Develop work breakdown structure (WBS) of the case study featuring 3-5 levels and 10-20 boxes. 3) Create a Chart or Table, listing all the major tasks, in sequence, and show all dependencies. 4) Draw a network diagram showing all the tasks and their dependencies (abbreviate their names if necessary). Arrange the tasks to achieve the shortest time to complete the project and determine the number of weeks it will take to complete the project. 5) Calculate the slack or float time for each activity, on the understanding that many tasks can be run in parallel if dependencies permit. 6) Finally, list the task numbers that form the critical path.
