This document discusses how magazines portray the time of Christmas through images, stories, and editing, with the author intending to fully portray Christmas in their own magazine by imitating other publications. While some existing rock magazines portray Christmas, they still maintain an emphasis on harder musical content rather than allowing Christmas to take over the focus of the magazine.

1. Clearly these magazines portray and reflect the time of Christmas, through the image itself, the stories as well as the editing. I chose to take on the time of Christmas and I will want to make sure that I portray it all the way through my magazine, attempting to imitate the magazines above. These present rock magazines do portray Christmas but don’t allow it to take over the hardness of the magazine.
