All of us are wounded and broken. Being wounded takes away our energy, zaps us of our enthusiasm and makes us weary. Jesus welcomes the broken and He makes them new again; and Jesus welcomes the weary - He gives us strength.

Come –
Some action is required by us.
The prodigal son would still be in
a far away country except that he
came to himself and started
home. The Father ran to meet
him but the son had to begin the
process!

Trying to earn your salvation
through works will wear down
even the strongest. If I have to
“work off” my sin I will be
exhausted.

cessation from work. It denotes
refreshment of body and soul so
that one may recover and be fit for
more work.

Just imagine, Jesus is willing to
be yoked with you! You want to
be a disciple of Jesus? He thinks
you are worthy!

This is a permanent rest! In
Christ we find a peace and
contentment that provides a rest
we find nowhere else.
