Internship Workplan Manager: Kristina Lee
Title: Manager, Reading Programs & Partnerships
The purpose of this agreement is to ensure that the internship experience is
productive and beneficial to both parties. This agreement outlines the obligations
of the intern and the organization hosting the intern. Both parties understand
that the duties listed are subject to change and any changes are for the benefit of
both parties.
This internship agreement is between Fredrick Benneh (Intern) and Worldreader,
which has agreed to serve as a partner organization in the Internship Program.
This internship will begin upon January 22, 2016 (start date) and will be
completed upon March 20, 2015 (end date).
I, Fredrick Benneh (Intern) acknowledge that I have been given a unique
opportunity to gain valuable professional experience. I have reviewed the
attached Workplan and feel confident that I will be able to fulfill the job duties
described in a timely and professional manner. I acknowledge that this internship
does not constitute and agreement for future employment and I offer my
services freely and without coercion.
I acknowledge that during the course of this internship I will have access to
certain proprietary information and processes, and I will not divulge them to
anyone without expressed written permission from Worldreader. I acknowledge
that any work I produce, all intellectual property rights including but not limited
to copyrights arising from it will belong to Worldreader. At the end of my
internship, I shall return any and all Worldreader owned materials in a timely
manner. I also acknowledge that this internship is to be considered an academic
experience and my performance will be evaluated based upon the following
criteria:
• Fulfillment of Internship Workplan
• Development of skills and taking initiative
• Ability to perform in a professional manner

Internship Workplan
Worldreader agrees that the Internship Workplan was designed specifically to
provide a learning experience, does not displace any permanent employees and
does not constitute a full-time occupation.
Worldreader estimates this Internship Workplan to require approximately 10
hours/week. Of which 6 hours must be completed in the Worldreader office.
The Intern will be under the direct supervision of Kristina Lee, a Worldreader
employee, for the duration of the Internship.
Upon completion, the Intern will receive a written evaluation in the form of a
letter describing the Workplan activities and the Intern’s performance.
The Internship will consist of the following activities and timeline:
E-READING PROGRAMS SALES & OUTREACH
• Training on BLUE Boxes – by mid January
• Strategizing & execution of outreach for BLUE Box potential partners –
end January thru March
E-READING PROGRAMS EDUCATION & PROGRAM DESIGN
• Assistance on content & program design for BLUE Boxes in Ghana –
entirety of internship
E-READING PROGRAMS COMMUNICATION
• Contribution or completion toward blog post – by early March
E-READING PROGRAMS OPERATIONS & PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
• Compilation and execution of BLUE Boxes – entirety of internship
• Input into Customer Care elements of BLUE Boxes – entirety of
internship
