change availability in an instant. We’ll even take credit card payments from
your customers for you (this is factored into our commission – it’s not an
additional fee).

8. Only when you have a paying customer will Renterval
withhold a modest commission from the rental price, using
the following sliding scale:
Less than $10.00: flat $2.50 fee applies
$10.00-$20.00 : 20% of purchase price
$20.01-$50.00 : 15% of purchase price
$50.01-up: 10% of purchase price (up to a max of $500)
You may choose to place additional promotional elements on your ads (bold
listing, add extra photos, etc.). Fees for this are additional, but they, too, are
deducted from the merchant’s proceeds only when an item is rented)
Merchants can keep a greater share of rental proceeds by adjusting the interval price,
the minimum number of required intervals, or both.

10. What happens if the customer doesn’t bring our merchandise
back?
Renterval (and you) know your customer’s name, contact
information, and Renterval has a valid credit card and billing
information.
How long after the rental will we get paid?
Renterval will issue a check 48 hours after the credit card is
charged and funds are deposited.
What if we perform and the customer isn’t happy?
Renterval will work with both parties in an attempt to resolve
the dispute amicably. We will not charge the customer’s card
unless we have a signed acknowledgement on file.
11. Can we require (and collect) a deposit?
Yes. As a part of your terms, you can require a deposit and
a copy of the renter’s driver’s license. Deposits are
collected by the merchant at the time of the transaction
(Renterval will not charge deposits on customers credit
card).
Who are the parties of the contract?
The rental agreement is between the merchant and the
customer – Renterval is not a party to the rental.
