1. Why Reading 1 Eng.
111 Facebook page
Facebook can be a home on the Internet for many people. There
is around one billion monthly active users of October 2012. 81%
of them are outside the U.S. and Canada. 600 million of
Facebook's 1 billion are mobile users. In Arab countries, there
are 43 million Arab users on Facebook, Arab Technical News
Gateway reported this week. More than six million of them are
in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Here comes the idea. Most
students have Facebook accounts. They daily communicate
using this widely used social network. So, why don't we give
learning a social aspect through using Facebook network where
2. they can post, discuss, take quizzes, study and share without
being enforced to use any language management systems
(LMS). Students' parents can be updated on their children's
performance and progress. They can contact instructors directly
by sending emails. And more can happen. This is why Reading
1 Eng. 111 Facebook page has been created.
