Ask any A&M Bulldogs fan what’s the last thing
they’d want to see happen to their football team,
and there’s a big chance you’ll hear the word
“injury.” Yes, injuries to players on the team are a
big deal. Throughout the years, the Bulldogs have
had their share of heartbreaks when some of the
biggest names in Bulldogs football had seasons cut
short because of injury.

Even with the huge rosters in football, an injured
player is a huge dent in the team. Not only does it

isn’t easy.
Obviously, injuries to star players can potentially
ruin an entire season for a team. But injuries to
second-stringers may also have a grave e ect.
Remember that in football, there’s a constant need
for in-game substitutions. When a second-stringer is
injured, players on the rst team don’t get to rest as
much. Their performance su ers.
This is why football teams need to keep all their
players in tip-top shape. Thus, college football
programs invest a lot of money in physical
therapists and doctors, to keep every player
healthy.
