• At some time in their past they have submitted to
some form of baptism.
• They’re entertaining some serious thoughts
about either the form of their baptism or their
motives at the time of their baptism.
• They realize that baptism is too important to their
salvation to be handled carelessly.

CONCERNED OVER THE VALIDITY
OF THEIR BAPTISM
• They are tender enough in heart to know that
they do not want to continue through life not
being sure they are saved.
• They want the baptism that is acceptable to God
and will grant them the forgiveness of their sins.
• If their first baptism, for whatever reasons and
circumstances were invalid, they will not delay in
wanting to be scripturally baptized into Christ.

4. Who Should Be Re-Baptized?
• All who were not baptized in the name of Christ.

• Anyone baptized without faith in the death, burial
and resurrection of Jesus. 1 Cor. 15:1-4
• All who were not properly taught before baptism.

• All who did not obey from the heart. Rom.6:17-18
• All who did not gladly receive the word Acts

• All who had not repented of sins. Acts 2:38

5. Who Should Be Re-Baptized?
• All who had not confessed faith in Christ. Acts 8:37
• All who were baptized as infants.

• All who did not know the truth nor understand it.

6. Who Should Be Re-Baptized?
• All who were baptized to enter some
denominational church. Rom. 6:3; 1 Cor. 12:13;
Col. 1:18, 24
• All who were not buried in water (immersed).

• All who were not sincere about what they were
doing when they were baptized. Col. 3:17

7. Who Should NOT be Re-baptized
• Those who heard and believed the gospel

• Those who were baptized scripturally and later
sinned. 1 Jn. 1:9; Acts 8:22
• Those who were baptized scripturally and later
entered a denomination. They need to repent.

8. Do you need to be Re-baptized?
• If not, great! But if you do, come right now.
2 Corinthians 6:2
• If you have never been baptized and desire to
obey Jesus and be saved, come now.
Hebrews 5:9; John 14:15
• If you still have questions ask us, study God’s
Word to know for sure what you need to do so you
can have eternal life in Jesus Christ. Acts 17:11
