WHCR 90.3 FM - The Voice of Harlem is not active in the social media
space. However, the majority of the station’s DJs/hosts/shows have social media
accounts, some with over 3,000 fans/followers. Though developing a unified voice
for WHCR may prove a challenge given the different messaging being put out by
each of these accounts, there exists a potential opportunity in leveraging these
accounts and the fan base they already have. Furthermore, there are also myriad
opportunities for unearthing and reaching out to members of the Harlem/
Washington Heights/Bronx community who are not already listeners.
