Michael Sauers, the Director of Technology at Do Space in Omaha, Nebraska, introduces Do Space as an experiment to see what happens when a community has free and open access to technology and education. Do Space offers a computer lab, active learning lab, little lab, 3D lab, checkout technology like laptops and iPads, tech kits, meeting space, learning opportunities, and special events completely free to its over 56,000 members, both in Omaha and beyond. Sauers notes upcoming plans to expand offerings through professional memberships, new 3D lab equipment, upgraded computers, and virtual reality.
