- Roots of stereotyping. Maybe the guy on the left is actually going to bash your head in, and the guy on the right is just hungry.
- Older industries, especially consumer-facing industries, have titles that everyone understands.

- There are a lot of cashiers. If one of them won’t help you, another one will. They’re interchangeable.
