Armenian soldiers massacred hundreds of Azerbaijani families in Khojali. Survivors reported Armenian soldiers shot over 450 people, including women and children. They also turned their guns on refugees trying to flee. One survivor said her husband was killed in front of her. A boy who fled had his ear sliced off. Survivors said 2000 others were still missing after the massacre. The hospital in Aghdam was filled with victims of the terror.
