2. Ireland’s only Surf Film
Festival, Shore Shots has
become an iconic event on
the Irish surf circuit and an
established part of the
European Surfing Calendar.
Now in its fifth year, the festival
sold out all shows in its first three
years at the Light House Cinema in
Dublin before moving west to Sligo,
the natural home of surfing. Shore
Shots also held screenings in
Donegal, Portrush and at the
international Surf Summit in Mayo
and Sligo as part of the Summit tech
conference two years running.
In 2017, the festival returns to Sligo Along
Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, This stretch of
coastline is a mecca for surfers and
creatives, home to some of Ireland’s biggest
waves including Mullaghmore and a
flourishing surf community in Strandhill.
It is a home to the creatives who have
chosen to live their lives on this dramatic
and unfolding Northwesterly edge of
Ireland.
This is no sporting event, nor is it a spectators’
event; it’s an immersive exploration of art;
where cutting edge creatives, filmmakers and
photographers champion the guts and energy
of global adrenaline junkies, addicted to
catching the biggest waves on this planet.

4. Following on from a spectacular three
years in Dublin was going to be tough.
And just like that notorious second album
syndrome the Irish Surf Film Festival
needed to pull something out of the bag.
Fortunately the weather played ball and
Europe's epic winter defined a remarkable
festival which was portrayed over two
great days in Sligo.

Our brands
We work with credible local, national
& global brands to leverage our audience
at the event, online and in print media
Shore Shots gave our brand the
opportunity to reach a new
audience at a credible event.
Over two days awareness for our
brand values within the Irish surf
scene was completely changed
and we went from a relatively
new brand with no identity in
Ireland to it now becoming one of
our main focus points.
