Every product owner wants to be sure the product delivered to the market is perfect. However, how the company can be sure about that? Quite often simple testing is not enough since some quality assurance services give shallow analysis. Few QA engineers dive into the deep to find even minor bottlenecks, some ignore those bottlenecks and leave them without fixing. As a result, these leads to heavy and costly further redevelopment. In fact, companies could avoid if run software risk assessment properly. TETRA is the technical debt reduction platform that helps understand how the product feels.
The future of outsourcing in Belarus and UkraineIntetics

But we do not want to speak without a proof and we let the numbers speak for us. Take a look at the presentation by Intetics CEO, Boris Kontsevoi, and learn where the outsourcing industry goes in Ukraine and Belarus.
This infographic describes why do companies outsource some of their activities and probably you should too.

Intetics Inc as the Globalization Enabler: providing access to software devel...Intetics
In an interview with Zillion magazine, the company founder and president, Boris Kontsevoi, recounts Intetics Co's early days in Belarus in 1995 and their focus on providing the best, custom software development services to its clients. Although it has been over 15 years and the company has since moved to Czech Republic and then the United States, the firm has not lost its client centered approach. The introduction of successful business models such as Offshore Dedicated Team and Remote Insourcing, coupled with a dedication to client’s needs and delivery of outstanding services, allowed the company to grow and be recognized as one of the Top 100 Outsourcing Companies in the world nine years in a row and receive the Inc 5000 fastest growth award 7 years in a row.
Growing software development company: The Business Ledger on Boris Kontsevoi ...Intetics
Boris Kontsevoi, the founder and president of Intetics Co. has received an Entreprenurial Award from Business Ledger for the company's large growth. The software development company now has almost 20 years of experience, operating based on its Remote Insourcing model. Intetics is a global sourcing company providing software development, software testing, systems integration, data processing, and knowledge management services.
Evolution of outsourcing models: risk management & remote insourcingIntetics
The presentation provides historical overview of evolution of outsourcing service models from internal service departments, to shared service organizations, to service contracts with companies inside and outside of their own countries, to dedicated teams, to offshore production centers, to SLAs in service delivery in BPO and ITO, to a blended model of on-/off-shore delivery, and to remote in-sourcing.
Ukraine Crisis: Geopolitical Risk Management in IT OutsourcingIntetics
In the face of current conflict in Eastern Ukraine, global business leaders are returning to discussions about managing global operations during geopolitical crises. Speaking at the IAOP (International Association of Outsourcing Professionals) Chicago Chapter meeting on July 17th 2014 at DePaul University, Boris Kontsevoi, president and founder of Intetics, a global IT outsourcing and software development company in USA, Germany and Eastern Europe, discussed the impacts geopolitical conflicts have on global business. He analyzed the risks and opportunities the current conflict in Ukraine may bring to providers and outsourcing buyers worldwide. Despite the crisis in Ukraine, the IT sector in industry is staying strong, and is likely to bounce back if the hostilities stop soon. The presentation further describes the relationship between business and geopolitical issues, reviews risks of political instability and suggests several geopolitical risk management strategies. Relying on previous lessons learned from geopolitical issues in places such as India, it becomes clear that the best strategy is to choose a trustworthy company as an outsourcing partner to prevent interference of politics and global business. Essentials of Automations: Exploring Attributes & Automation ParametersSafe Software
Building automations in FME Flow can save time, money, and help businesses scale by eliminating data silos and providing data to stakeholders in real-time. One essential component to orchestrating complex automations is the use of attributes & automation parameters (both formerly known as “keys”). In fact, it’s unlikely you’ll ever build an Automation without using these components, but what exactly are they?
Attributes & automation parameters enable the automation author to pass data values from one automation component to the next. During this webinar, our FME Flow Specialists will cover leveraging the three types of these output attributes & parameters in FME Flow: Event, Custom, and Automation. As a bonus, they’ll also be making use of the Split-Merge Block functionality.
You’ll leave this webinar with a better understanding of how to maximize the potential of automations by making use of attributes & automation parameters, with the ultimate goal of setting your enterprise integration workflows up on autopilot.
Conversational agents, or chatbots, are increasingly used to access all sorts of services using natural language. While open-domain chatbots - like ChatGPT - can converse on any topic, task-oriented chatbots - the focus of this paper - are designed for specific tasks, like booking a flight, obtaining customer support, or setting an appointment. Like any other software, task-oriented chatbots need to be properly tested, usually by defining and executing test scenarios (i.e., sequences of user-chatbot interactions). However, there is currently a lack of methods to quantify the completeness and strength of such test scenarios, which can lead to low-quality tests, and hence to buggy chatbots.
To fill this gap, we propose adapting mutation testing (MuT) for task-oriented chatbots. To this end, we introduce a set of mutation operators that emulate faults in chatbot designs, an architecture that enables MuT on chatbots built using heterogeneous technologies, and a practical realisation as an Eclipse plugin. Moreover, we evaluate the applicability, effectiveness and efficiency of our approach on open-source chatbots, with promising results.

[OReilly Superstream] Occupy the Space: A grassroots guide to engineering (an...Jason Yip
The typical problem in product engineering is not bad strategy, so much as “no strategy”. This leads to confusion, lack of motivation, and incoherent action. The next time you look for a strategy and find an empty space, instead of waiting for it to be filled, I will show you how to fill it in yourself. If you’re wrong, it forces a correction. If you’re right, it helps create focus. I’ll share how I’ve approached this in the past, both what works and lessons for what didn’t work so well.
Connector Corner: Seamlessly power UiPath Apps, GenAI with prebuilt connectorsDianaGray10
Join us to learn how UiPath Apps can directly and easily interact with prebuilt connectors via Integration Service--including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Open GenAI, and more.
The best part is you can achieve this without building a custom workflow! Say goodbye to the hassle of using separate automations to call APIs. By seamlessly integrating within App Studio, you can now easily streamline your workflow, while gaining direct access to our Connector Catalog of popular applications.
We’ll discuss and demo the benefits of UiPath Apps and connectors including:
Creating a compelling user experience for any software, without the limitations of APIs.
Accelerating the app creation process, saving time and effort
Enjoying high-performance CRUD (create, read, update, delete) operations, for
seamless data management.

Introduction of Cybersecurity with OSS at Code Europe 2024Hiroshi SHIBATA
I develop the Ruby programming language, RubyGems, and Bundler, which are package managers for Ruby. Today, I will introduce how to enhance the security of your application using open-source software (OSS) examples from Ruby and RubyGems.
The first topic is CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures). I have published CVEs many times. But what exactly is a CVE? I'll provide a basic understanding of CVEs and explain how to detect and handle vulnerabilities in OSS.
Next, let's discuss package managers. Package managers play a critical role in the OSS ecosystem. I'll explain how to manage library dependencies in your application.
I'll share insights into how the Ruby and RubyGems core team works to keep our ecosystem safe. By the end of this talk, you'll have a better understanding of how to safeguard your code.
