Founding members of Pussy Riot, Maria Alekhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, along with Hunter Heaney, director of the Voice Project, held a surprise phone call with Cuban artist Tania Bruguera, who was arrested in 2014. This call occurred during a press conference after an event in New Mexico on May 7, 2015. A video of the call has been released by Site Santa Fe.

Maria (Masha) Alekhina and Nadezhda (Nadya) Tolokonnikova, founding members ofPussy Riot,
along with Hunter Heaney, Director of the Voice Project, made a surprise call to Cuban performance
artistTania Bruguera who was arrested late 2014 in Havana. The phone meeting was held during the
press conference following an event on May 7, 2015, hosted by SITE Santa Fe and Santa Fe
