last nine sessions. September was like a nightmare for the market, Bank Nifty forming a long bearish candle which

1. The ReserveBank of India (RBI)has frozen the remuneration of Bandhan Bank chief
executive officer and managingdirector ChandrashekharGhoshfor not complyingwiththe
promoter shareholding norms. Bandhan Bank also cannotopen new branches without the
regulator'spermission.
2. SEBI has barred Rich InfraDevelopersIndiaand its four directors from the capital markets
for at least four yearsand also directed them to refund money collected illegally from
investors. The directorshave also been restrained from holdingkey managerial position of
any listed company for four years, the Securities and Exchange Board of India(SEBI) said in
an order dated September 27.
3. Kesoram Industrieshas received an approvalfrom Karnatakagovernmentfor acquisition of
some 675 acresof land for Industrialpurpose.
4. CanaraBank’sboard decided to hike equity share capital amountingupto Rs250cr (Face
