A magical drop sees that water sources around the world are drying up and decides to teach a boy named Michael about conserving water. The drop shrinks Michael down to its size and takes him on a trip around the world to see the lack of water firsthand. Michael is dismissive of the issue at first but comes to understand the drop's message after returning home to find no water. The drop agrees to return water to Michael's house if he promises to stop wasting water from that point on.

1. Once upon a time a magical drop saw
that the rivers were drained, lakes dried
and glaciers disappeared. And she
thought: " What can we do to save the
water of the world? "
One night, Michael was preparing a bath
and suddenly he heard a strange voice:
- What are you doing? - said the magic
drop.

2. Michael was very surprised.
- What's this? Who are you? Where do you come from? What
are you doing in my bath?
- Ups! How many questions! Let's go little by little. I'm a magic
drop!
- Is it a joke? - asked Michael. He couldn't believe what was
seeing.

3. - You waste a lot of water Michael!
Now you are going to be small like
me, we will travel around the world
and you will realize that the rivers and
lakes are dried.
Michael was astonished.

4. - Come here cloud! We are going to travel around the world
together! - shouted the magic drop.
- It's amazing! - yelled Michael.
- Michael! Let's jump on the cloud! Here we go!!!
They flew above Germany and
started to see lakes, ponds,
reservoirs, rivers and streams
with very little water.
- Look at this! It's a pity! - said
the magical drop very sad.

5. But Michael exclaimed:
- It's not my problem. Lots of people waste
water everyday. It's not my fault.
- If everybody wasted so much water as you,
there would be no water in the world. Michael
remember the water you use everyday. How
many times do you have a bath?
- Let me think... one time in the morning,
another time before the lunch, again after the
lunch... only five times a day!

6. - Oh my God! It can't be healthy! - mumbled the magic drop- And
when you brush your teeth, you let the tap open.
- Everybody does it! - grumbled
Michael.
- And when you water the flowers
you don't use the water from the
rain - added the drop.
- No, of course! It's more practical
to use the hose.

7. The magic drop stopped. She was very
angry because Michael was very
selfish.
They flew again to Germany and when
Michael arrived home, he had a
surprise. He went to the kitchen and
when he turned the tap on, no water
came out. Then, he went to the
bathroom and there was no water. He
started getting nervous and worried.

8. Then, Michael thought about all the things that Magic drop told and
showed him. And he realized that the Magic drop was right.
Suddenly, Magic drop appeared at Michael's house and said:
- I see that you are worried and regretful. I'm going to return the water
to you but you can't waste water anymore.
