Addressing an “EEE”error
When a error in the schedule occurs, the timer display shows the
error code, EEE. Included with the error code is the Switch-point
indicator for the programmed switch-point that caused the error
message to appear.
To correct the error, use the steps described above in “Changing or
deleting a switch-point”to change or delete the switch-point that
caused the error.
LIGHT TOWER CONTROLS
The timer operates together with the light tower control system. To
ensure the timer operates as expected, both the timer and the light
tower controls MUST BE SET PROPERLY.
Solar light towers
On solar light towers, the timer overrides the photocell-controlled
automated on/off functions, so you can turn the lights on manually
or automatically with the timer during daylight hours if desired.
For the timer to operate properly:
1. On the light tower control panel, set the function selector
switch to the timer position (as illustrated below).
2. Toggle the individual light switches on the light tower control
panel to ❙.
3. Use the timer as described in “Turning lights on and off” below.
Diesel light towers with Auto-Start/Stop Controller
On diesel light towers, the timer operates together with the
photocell-controlled automated on/off functions, therefore the
lights will not turn on automatically during daylight hours. You can
turn the lights on manually during daylight hours if desired.
To turn the lights on manually during daylight hours:
1. Use the timer as described in “Manually turning lights on and
off”below.
2. Review the light tower controller instructions for properly
using the Auto-Start/Stop Controller, and then follow the
instructions in the “Manual operation”section.
For timer-controlled operation at or after dusk:
1. Use the timer as described in “Running the schedule” below.
2. Review the light tower controller instructions for properly
using the Auto-Start/Stop Controller, and then follow the
instructions in the “Fully automatic operation”or
“Automatic operation”section.
