Walt Disney was born on December 5th 1901 in Chicago, Illinois. He developed an interest in animation after taking art classes in high school and creating political cartoons. While working at an advertising agency in Kansas City, Disney began experimenting with animation using cardboard cutouts, sparking his passion. In 1922, he founded the Laugh-O-Gram Studio to pursue animation full time. Disney's classic cartoons from the early 1900s like Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse remain timeless and relevant today by passing down his imaginative works across generations.
