CALL TO MEDITATION
‘How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty! My soul yearns,
even faints for the courts of the LORD; my heart and flesh cry out for
the living God, Blessed are those who dwell in your house they are
ever praising you.
- Psalm 84
MOMENT OF SILENT PRAYER
OPENING HYMN
“BLESSED ASSURANCE, JESUS IS MINE”
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of his Spirit, washed in His blood.
This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long
Perfect submission, perfect delight, Visions of rapture now burst on my sight
Angels descending bring from above, Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.
Perfect submission, all is at rest, I in my Saviour am happy and blest
Watching and Waiting, Looking Above, Fill’d with His goodness, Lost in His
Love.
OPENING PRAYER
RESPONSIVE CALL TO MEDITATION
Leader: Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life, He who believes in Me
will live even though he dies.
People: And whoever lives and believes in Me will never die.
Leader: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on “Yes says the
Spirit” that they may rest from their labors, and their work follow them.
People: Thought I walk through the valley of shadow of death, I will fear
no evil, for Thou art with me.
Unison: We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the
body, and to be present with the Lord.

CLOSING HYMN
“WHEN WE ALL GET TO HEAVEN”
Sing the wondrous love of Jesus, Sing His mercy and His grace;
In the mansions bright and blessed, He’ll prepare for us a place.
Refrain:
When we all get to heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus, We’ll sing and shout the victory!
Let us then be true and faithful. Trusting, serving every day;
Just one glimpse of Him in glory. Will the toils of life repay.
Onward to the prize before us! Soon His beauty we’ll behold;
Soon the pearly gates will open; We shall tread the streets of gold.
CLOSING PRAYER AND BENEDICTION
THREE FOLD AMEN
“ Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
and I know who holds my hand.”
-STANPH
ARRIVED!! !
“Absent from the body … present with the Lord.” (II
Cor. 5:8) “For I am in a strait betwixt two … having a
desire to depart, and to be with Christ, which is far better.”
Phil. 1:23
Oh, say: “He has arrived!”
And not that, ”He is gone!”
May every thought of him
Be in the land of morn!
Arrived to hear Jesus’ voice
And see His welcoming smile,
And then to greet again
Those he has “lost a while!”
Arrived to tread no more
The weary path of pain,
Nor feel the waning strength
The body feels, again.
