• West Africa Diving Association (WADA) is one of the oldest diving
contractors and a leading provider of marine construction and
infrastructure support services for over 20 years in Liberia. Our
experience enables us to adapt quickly to unique problems and
resolve potentially costly situations. In addition, we have the proven

• WADA is one of the few full-service underwater marine contractors
that can provide project management, commercial diving, in water

• WADA staff where trained by the professional Finland Divers, DCN
Global LLC, STANTLY CONSULANTCY, PADI and BAM
INTERNATIONAL.
• WADA worked with the Finland Divers in renovating the Tubman
Bridge. Our responsibilities were to cast concrete pillars and weld the
underwater support structures.
• WADA was the only local company to salvage a wreck (7 times). We
were contracted by PAE to photograph the hull of all ECOMOG gun
boats, MSG Shipping, Ocean Shipping GETMA and OTC in
collaboration with the National Port Authority and hired us to clean
the port of Buchanan, Sinoe and Harper.

• Under the supervision of the European Union chief Engineer Mr. Raymond
Cumbersome, WADA was instrumental in the Emergency Rehabilitation
Program of the Freeport of Monrovia.
• WADA was hired by the United State Embassy to inspect the ocean bottom to
a depth of 12 meters about 400ft west of the American Embassy.
• AMP Terminals and BAM INTERNATIONAL hired the services of WADA to
assist in the construction of the Monrovia Container Terminal, our
responsibilities were to cast concrete pillars, weld the anodes on the sheet pills
and conduct in water survey.
• The various shipping agency especially OBT SHIPPING have contracted our
services to conduct numerous ship maintenance work on and offshore. We
have a 100% success rate with numerous references to the scope of work.

CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT
• As in all construction projects, proper tooling and equipment is
instrumental to the outcome, saving time and money. Properly
designed, built and maintained equipment can make a challenging
task achievable.
• We combine in-house design, engineering and fabrication abilities
with years of experience in a large variety of marine construction
projects to allow us to tackle the toughest of tasks. From mounting
underwater hydrophones to rebuilding eroded sections of end sills to
making repairs to a stilling basin floor to handling and mounting
steel pieces, each project is unique. Our broad spectrum of
experience and abilities allow us to tackle both simple and complex
projects safely and cost-effectively.

• Our dive gear includes hot water suits, dry suits, hard hat mounted
lighting, and specialty equipment for task-specific jobs such as
diving in hazardous materials, potable water, or black water.
Equipment is portable and can be shipped any where at any time.
• All equipment is maintained to work as efficiently and effectively as
possible with maximum safety in mind for our crews and third

emergency response. Over the past 20 years we have refined our
trailer response packages to include the essential tools and
equipment for large scale shoreline operations to small marina
responses.
• Equipment is pre-staged at our offices to expedite our response time
and minimize delays to our customers in arriving on-site. WADA
personnel pride themselves in ensuring that all equipment is
maintained and operable when it arrives on-site. The
professionalism of the crew extends to the on-site operations as
they will assess the situation to maintain a safe environment during
stressful circumstances.
