Eligible candidates must have completed their M.E/M.Tech in relevant fields and should be recent graduates, with specific preferences for candidates from the southern region of India. Conditions to apply for VSSC Recruitment 2014
1. Only pass out candidates in their respective course need to apply. Candidates who
have passed their qualifying course prior to August 2011 need not apply.
2. Courses recognized by Universities / State Boards from Southern region (Kerala,
Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Pondicherry) will be given
preference.
3. The duration of the training will be one year.
4. Combining of Apprenticeship with other institutions not permitted.
5. Upper age limit is 30 years. (33 years for OBC, 35 years for SC/ST, 40 years for
PH candidates.
6. Reservation to SC/ST/OBC/PH applicable.
7. Candidates should attach true copies of certificates of their qualifications acquired
from SSLC/SSC/AISSC onwards. Copies of experience, if an y, copy of
community certificate (if belongs to SC/ST), Non-Creamy layer certificate (if
belongs to OBC), Disability certificate (if PHcandidate) also to be furnished.
8. The trainees will have no claim whatsoever for employment in Vikram Sarabhai
Space Center or any other Centers /Units of Indian Space Research
