Armando Mes'as is a Colombian artist and designer who has worked on multidisciplinary cultural and commercial projects in Colombia, Mexico, and the United States since 2005. He received a bachelor's degree in industrial design from Universidad ICESI in Colombia and a master's degree in illustration from the University of the Arts London. Mes'as has worked as an art director and chief creative in the film, music, and art industries and has led various art projects to promote emerging artists and cultural exchange.

During this period I have worked directing visual identity oriented projects, developing a
very precise method to dig deep into each project’s peculiar needs. My clients have
increased their public presence reaching 500.000+ fans and 2.500.000 views.
* Malos Dias (Film) (2013)
Worked as the art director leading the set design, costume design, and hair & make-up
departments during pre-production and production stages. Developed the visual concept
for poster and credit design during post-production.
* Mondei (Band) (2004 - 2010)
Lead singer, songwriter, composer and keyboardist for colombian pop-rock band. The band
had the opportunity to play in different stages across Colombia and achieved wide press
coverage locally. Released one full length album produced by Latin Grammy nominees.

I have worked as a cultural agent developing exhibitions, live painting shows, symposiums,
workshops and other art related activities across Colombia, Mexico, USA, Spain and the UK.
This project has been aimed to promote the work of the emerging art scene in Colombia,
providing spaces and platforms for their development and ecouraging a self-management
mentality and cultural exchange among young artists.
